Shipping Policy
General Shipping Policy Gas-Lanterns ships to locations within the lower 48 states via UPS Ground or Fedex. All orders over $300 will include free Ground shipping. Orders under $300 will be charged 10% of the total order for Shipping & Handling fee. (In certain cases, these shipping carges can be changed if the shipping weight and dimensional size is out of the ordinary. You will be notified in that case) Shipping & Handling fees help cover our shipping, warehousing, order handling, systems and overhead costs.
Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and outside the U.S. For orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and outside the U.S., please contact us to check if we can ship to your area and for shipping costs.
Most orders are dop shipped directly from the manufacturer to your shipping address. It typically takes 2-6 weeks to process and ship out an order. The time it takes to receive your order will depend on the manufacturer location and your shipping address. However, the order can be shipped within one week if the manufacturer have them in stock.
If an item is backordered by the manufacturer, you will be notified via email or phone call. In such situation, you have two options: Either cancel the order OR wait until the item becomes available again.
From time to time, items will be placed on backorder. Please contact us prior to placing your order to confirm lead times for each item.
Next Day or 2nd Day Shipping Unless otherwise specified, your order will be shipped via UPS Ground or Fedex Ground. If you would like to receive your order faster, we can ship your order using Next Day or 2nd Day services. Please contact us at 713-212-7719 prior to your completing your order to check on availability of your item(s) and to receive additional shipping costs. NOTE: Most of the time, the lead time on gas lanterns is 2-6 weeks and the express shipping will not be possible unless the manufacturer have them in stock.
Return Policy
20 Day Return Policy You may return any item within 20 days of receipt of goods.
Return Authorization All returns must be accompanied by a sales receipt and a RGA number. Returned items must be in original condition with original carton and packaging. If an item has been installed or is not in its original conditon with all original packaging, it will not be accepted. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to us on returned items.
Returns will only be accepted with a valid RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number. RGA numbers may be requested at returns@gas-lanterns.net
The following information needs to be provided:
Name & Address Order Number Items(s) to be returned Reason for return
Once a valid RGA number is received, this number must be clearly written on the outside of all packages to be returned. Packages without a valid RGA number referenced on the outside of the box will not be opened and will be returned to the shipper.

Once we receive and inspect your order, we will credit your card in the original amount paid for each returned item. Shipping & Handling charges will not be refunded in any case. It typically takes 10-14 business days to process a return once it is received.
Customer are responsible for all shipping charges back to us on returned items.
Package Condtion Do NOT write on the product's packaging and ONLY USE CLEAR TAPE to re-seal packages. Returned products must be in original and resellable condition. If the returned item's packaging is damaged or if there are any missing parts, a 25% restocking fee will be charged.
Report Any Damages Immediately Please inspect your merchandise immediately and carefully upon receipt. Any damaged merchandise received must be reported to Gas-Lanterns.net within 24 hours of receipt. Customer bears full responsibility for any damages not reported within this 24 hour period.
Defective Items In an unfortunate event, if you receive a defective item, please notify us and ship the item back to us. In return, we will ship your replacement at our cost. Please understand that we are only the dealer and not the manufacturer. We do our best to provide you with quality lighting products, but in order to enjoy the lower price of shopping on the internet, we cannot be liable for all shipping charges.
All defective items will be tested by our technicians and require that all parts in the box be returned. If the item is found to not be defective, you will be responsible for return shipping charges or a 20% restocking fee, if you do not want the item back. |
